Especially since WHITE PEOPLE are the pedophiles, mass shooters, serial killers, massive child abuse in the Catholic church and the Republican Christian nationalists…

My father raised us, people are people.

We have mid terms in 2026,(thank god)we have a chance to win the house and senate and if so Trump will be impeached. Most of us here in the states are horrified, how did this grifter win?

Ann-Marie, it is scary and appalling to so many of us who do not support this lunatic and the totally unqualified members of his staff and cabinet. I have to keep telling myself that the tide will turn if enough people protest and vote against this racist regime. I am 72 and have never witnessed this level of hatred in my country. Instead of unifying the country, they thrive on division. At this point, my biggest fear is that they will try and impose some type of martial law before the next election because I am certain many of our Republican house and senate members who are enabling this maniacal administration will be voted out of office!

You are right. But the courts ARE on the ball, but the process takes a long time. There are protests from one side of the country to the other. I think we’ll be OK, but it won’t be tomorrow. 🙁

I lived in Boise Idaho since ‘77. I didn’t drive so so I didn’t go anywhere except for work. But when I could explore the city more I was certainly happy to see the diversity of the population. Brown black Asian I even enjoyed seeing purple people. Diversity of culture is what makes America unique. My dad taught me that ALL HUMANS HAVE THE SAME COLOR OF BLOOD 🩸!!!!!!!

I’m a white female senior citizen now retired. I was “raised” by a black woman a human love machine. My best boss was black, I now live in South America. The only people who have ever hurt me were white! Need I tell you you stole the US from the indigenous inhabitants…

Great post! I’m a boomer and I DON’T CARE if white people become a minority. My university students are diverse in ethnicity, race and sexuality. I’m only concerned about their education, not their personal lives. Too many of the magas are deeply uneducated and deeply racist.

As soon as people recognize that we are one race…the human race…the color of one’s skin was nature’s way of protecting us against the elements. We are all the same, we breathe the same air, the all bleed red blood & our bodies without skin looks exactly alike.

Who made the decision that one race was superior to another? Who in the hell made the decision that white was better than black or black was better than brown or any other color is better than another color? There is no reason for such hatred.

Same goes for religion…NOT ONE human can say with 💯 accuracy that they know for sure what happens after death…so making religion the center of our existence or stating that one religion is better than another is utter nonsense. Everyone should have the freedom to choose how they perceive how we came to & how we’ll end up…but there is no foundational basis of anything concrete. NO ONE has the right to force or state their belief is better than someone else’s. Religion was invented by the rich to control the masses…since there we fewer rich people than poor people; the rich feared the poor would over take them & take their money…sound familiar?

What comes to mind for me is watching all the leader of the Republican Party, Mike Johnson, praying that their ‘big beautiful bill’ to take money FROM the poor & give i TO the RICH, would pass! What kind of belief is that? That you’d want to harm those who have nothing, to want children to die, to see people starve to death? What kind of sick demented religion is that?

The only thing that we can for sure accomplish while we are on this earth is: to love one another, treat others as you wish to be treated, be kind to ALL living beings, care for each other by helping those in need, care for the sick, take care for the children by making sure no harm comes to them, & show compassion.

We are here as stewards of this beautiful planet; we are not here to destroy the earth…this planet belongs to all who inhabit it. We are custodians of the planet…our home.

I always find people that are afraid of minorities puzzling. I live in San Antonio. We are 57% Hispanic, 30% white , 7% Black & 6 % everything else. I love my city. It’s not like the rest of Texas. The city painted the rainbow flag on Main Street. Our motto “one city for everyone “ I’ve worked in SA for 41 years. Most of the time I’m the only white person. We have a core group if friends 4 white, 2 Hispanic & 2 black. Everyone brings something to our group. I just don’t get it. After living is SA for so long the only negative thing I can say is the white culture is boring. I prefer the the glorious mix!

Racism is stupid. Color is merely an incident of birth. With all the things in life that we have to deal with and overcome, why be hateful about the color a person was born? Color is color, but racism is a trait of a lack of humanity and a false sense of self worth.
